System Administrator

Analytica is seeking a System Administrator to support a dynamic federal government project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and vision for implementing and managing hardware, software, and network systems.

Requirements

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop/server software applications and hardware solutions
• Build standard Windows desktop
• Windows server administration and Active Directory configuration
• Support servers, including security configurations, patching, security vulnerability remediation, and troubleshooting
• Develop and refine procedures for identifying and mitigating common system issues
• Identify weak points or gaps in the systems architecture and provide recommendations for improving operations and the end user experience
• Use tools like Ansible, Puppet, etc. to implement automation of sysadmin tasks
• Manage backups, off-site archives, and disaster recovery system readiness
• Provide on-site and remote support
• Assist with network implementations and projects
• Analyze organization's needs, conduct technical research, and implement appropriate solutions to meet needs and comply with department standards
