Job Description
Andrew Peller Limited is seeking a passionate and dedicated Sous Chef to join their team at Gray Monk Estate Winery in Lake Country, BC. The successful candidate will assist in the development and execution of a high-quality food program that exceeds guests' expectations.
Requirements
- Previous experience leading a kitchen team in a similar position
- Culinary training (Red Seal or equivalent) is an asset
- Proven culinary production skills and strong practical skills in cost control and management
- Valid Food Safe certification is required
- Six (6) or more years of kitchen culinary experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory role
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
