Mechanical Engineering Manager

Andromeda Robotics is an ambitious social robotics company seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead the mechanical design and development of their robot, Abi. The successful candidate will own the mechanical vision for Abi and lead a team of Mechanical Engineers to deliver mission-critical outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Masters/PhD degree in Mechanical, Biomechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of post-graduate professional mechanical engineering experience
• 3+ years post-graduate experience managing medium-sized teams
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, OnShape, or equivalent)
• Experience with risk-weighted design approaches
• Hands-on integration of actuators, sensors, motors, wire harnesses, and communication buses
