Job Description
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Equipment Safety Engineer to join the Rocket Motor Systems team. The team is designing and commissioning automated equipment for high-rate production of Solid Rocket Motors at the company's plant in McHenry, MS. The engineer will lead machine safety efforts and ensure automation equipment is designed, validated, and operated to the highest safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics/Controls, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar
- 8+ years of machine safety experience in a production environment
- Completed one of the following certifications: Functional Safety [TUV Rheinland] for Machinery Engineer, Functional Safety Engineer [TUV SUD], or Certified Machinery Safety Expert (CMSE) [TUV NORD]
- Deep knowledge in selection, integration, and validation of safety hardware
- Familiar with CAD packages including NX, Solidworks, or AutoCAD
