Staff Equipment Safety Engineer, Rocket Motor Systems

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Equipment Safety Engineer to join the Rocket Motor Systems team. The team is designing and commissioning automated equipment for high rate production of Solid Rocket Motors at Anduril's plant in McHenry, MS. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine safety, robotics, and electrical engineering, and will be responsible for ensuring automation equipment is designed, validated, and operated to the highest safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics/Controls, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar
• 12+ years of machine safety experience in a production environment
• Must have completed one of the following certifications: Functional Safety [TUV Rheinland] for Machinery Engineer, Functional Safety Engineer [TUV SUD], or Certified Machinery Safety Expert (CMSE) [TUV NORD]
• Deep knowledge in selection, integration, and validation of safety hardware
• Familiar with CAD packages including NX, Solidworks, or AutoCAD
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
