Senior Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer - Air Dominance & Strike - Advanced Effects

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer to join their Air Dominance & Strike team. The ideal candidate has experience working on aerospace systems and understands the right fidelity of sub-system and system level modeling required to integrate with the broader flight control and mission autonomy software to support development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or related technical discipline
• 8+ years of experience
• Experience with aerospace/aeronautical systems (including missiles, rotorcraft/VTOL) and/or Subsea vehicles
• Experience in flight dynamics/platform physics and control
• Proficiency with C/C++
• Advanced proficiency with scientific computing systems (Mathworks products (e.g., MATLAB, SIMULINK etc.), scientific Python (e.g., numpy, scipy)
• Flight test data processing/sim correlation experience
• Experience with developing sub-system and system level models (Air vehicle, ground vehicles, ground based sensors and other types of complex systems)
• Experience with model development to support Guidance, Navigation and Control algorithm development
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
