Job Description
Join us as a Mining Coordinator at Dawson Mine, overseeing production south operations and leading a team of Mining Supervisors. Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you'll manage and coordinate personnel, equipment, and resources to achieve operational targets and schedules, while building and maintaining a proactive safety culture.
Requirements
- Relevant experience overseeing a large operational team in an open-cut mining environment
- Demonstrated experience with Truck, Shovel, and Excavator operations
- Working knowledge of relevant Coal Mining legislation
- Supervisor & Risk Facilitator competencies (S1, 2, 3 & G2)
- Certificate IV in Surface Coal Mining (OCE ticket) desirable
- Trainer & Assessor certification desirable
- Strong computer literacy and reporting capabilities
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills
