Job Description
At AngloGold Ashanti Australia, we are looking for a Senior Specialist Mine Engineering (Short-Term Planning) to join our Underground Mining team at Tropicana Gold Mine. The role will involve developing and implementing short-term plans, communicating with mining contractors, and ensuring safe delivery of planned physicals.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in UG mine planning, drill and blast, Paste filling and underground mine ventilation
- Prior Experience in mine design and scheduling using Deswik, OPS and MDM
- Good communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization
- Experience of mentoring planning engineers
- WA First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency
- Existing and ongoing permanent work rights in Australia (Mandatory)
- A current Western Australian “C” class drivers’ license
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
