Development Intership

Animal Friends is seeking a Development Intern to assist with community engagement, annual giving, and development efforts. The intern will gain experience in development, donor research, and event planning while working closely with the Development team.

Requirements

• Animal lover with experience working with shelter animals
• Good proof-reading skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and Bloomerang experience desirable
• Flexible schedule, including availability on nights and weekends
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
• Age 18 or older
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable soliciting and working with individuals and businesses
