Job Description
Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to join their Beneficial Deployments team. The role involves working with mission-driven organizations to accelerate their impact through advising on AI systems, building ecosystem-level tooling and infrastructure, and creating technical content to accelerate partner adoption.
Requirements
- 4+ years as a Software Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or technical founder
- Production experience building LLM-powered applications
- Builder credibility that earns trust with technical founders and engineering teams
- Experience working in ed-tech, healthcare, scientific research, nonprofit, or other mission-driven organizations
- Love of teaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed
- Scrappy mentality, comfortable wearing multiple hats and driving clarity in ambiguous situations
