Staff Software Engineer, Kubernetes Platform

Anthropic is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Kubernetes Platform team, where they will be responsible for designing, building, and operating the Kubernetes control plane and custom cluster services. The ideal candidate will have significant software engineering experience, proficiency in a systems-appropriate language, and deep knowledge of Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Significant software engineering experience building and operating production distributed systems
• Proficiency in at least one systems-appropriate language
• Deep, hands-on Kubernetes experience into scheduler, controllers, apiserver, or operating large multi-tenant clusters
• Demonstrated ability to debug complex issues across the stack
• A track record of designing for reliability, correctness, and clear failure semantics in systems
