Job Description
Water Heater Technical Support Agent - Tier 1 (Call Center) provides technical/troubleshooting assistance and general product information to customers, primarily homeowners and professionals responsible for equipment installation and maintenance.
Requirements
- Answer incoming calls and emails
- Document call, installation, and product information
- Research product/part information and maintain/updates records
- Assist customers with understanding how to properly use AO Smith products
- Handle requests for replacement part for manufacturer related issues
- Remains educated and up to date on current and new products
- Assess caller’s abilities and refer non-service professionals to service providers
- Makes warranty related decisions for water heating and related equipment
- Provides specification information for callers considering purchase
- Refers callers for purchasing as needed
- Inputs product registrations
