Job Description
Apace is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide training and support for individuals with disabilities in various communities. The role involves creating personalized plans to meet individual goals, building relationships, and enhancing skills. Schedules are flexible, based on needs, and may include days, evenings, weekends, and overnights.
Requirements
- Knowledge of training individuals with developmental disabilities helpful.
- Ability to work with individuals with special needs, including personal hygiene/care.
- Ability to contribute positively to the work team.
- Ability to meet the physical demand of the service location.
- Educational requirements: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent knowledge.
- Possession of a driver’s license valid in the state of Nebraska or other adequate means of transportation.
