Graduate Engineer

As a Graduate Engineer at Apex Engineering Group, you will work as a key project team member on highway, urban roadway or municipal projects from the planning phase through design and construction. The role involves contributing to the design and development of project plans, specifications, and collaborating with project team members. The position requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and 1-3 years of experience with design and/or construction observation responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
• Engineering Intern (EI) certified, or ability to obtain certification within one year
• 1-3 Years of experience with design and/or construction observation responsibilities on roadway or general municipal projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented, self-motivated with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Flexible working style and willingness to occasionally modify personal schedules as required to meet deadlines and/or client needs
• Proficient using Microsoft Windows/Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microstation/GeoPak or other CADD-based civil design software is a plus
• Valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one
