Sr. Engineer

This position is a senior level position with the opportunity to maintain and develop Apex’s Municipal services for public and private clients. Individual will be responsible for managing and growing Apex’s Municipal services in the Minnesota (MN) and/or North Dakota (ND) markets.

Requirements

• Manage all aspects of client relationships
• Establish and maintain key strategic partnerships
• Collaborate with other sector leaders
• Follow and maintain strategic plan initiatives and goals
• Demonstrate a strong ability to mentor project engineers
• Participate in business development and marketing activities
• Attend appropriate conferences and professional seminars
• Coordinate and direct project pursuit efforts
• Participate in municipal leadership team meetings
• Responsible for hiring and recruiting strategic positions
• Utilize effective communication skills
• Responsible for providing financial and progress reports
• Keep abreast of the latest civil engineering technical advancements
• Understand and follow company employee handbook and mandated safety policies
• Perform responsibilities in a conscientious, legal, and ethical manner
• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Participate in professional organizations and community leadership programs
• Travel and out-of-town stays may be required
• This position may frequently require more than 40-hour work weeks
