Youth Behavioral Specialist

Provide supervision, guidance, boundaries, and directions to residents. Demonstrate support, communication, and compliance with CHOR's Sanctuary principles. Assist with planned activities and maintain safety and security.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 Years of Age
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record (preferred)
• Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in social work, criminal justice, psychology, or any Human Services field (highly preferred)
• Associate's degree with at least 1 year experience working with youth (accepted)
• Highschool Diploma or GED with 1 year of experience working with youth (accepted)
• Pass all pre-employment background clearances (Child, Criminal, FBI, and DMV)
• Pass a physical and a drug screening (including Marijuana/THC panel)
• Attend all required trainings and shadowing prior to working on the unit
• Demonstrate basic oral, written, and verbal communication
