Job Description
Join Apple and help drive the development of key mechanical manufacturing processes across Apple’s worldwide supply base as a Manufacturing Design Engineer (MDE) for iPhone. This role involves driving process development, selecting and designing manufacturing equipment, and collaborating with global supply managers and suppliers to meet Apple’s design and operational requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-time mechanical manufacturing experience
- BS, MS or PhD in mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering (preferred)
- Demonstrate hands-on mechanical ability
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
- Experience with highly cosmetic parts and consumer electronics or consumer plastic / sheet metal products (preferred)
- 25% domestic and international travel required
