Job Description
Applied Materials is seeking a Buyer to purchase materials, supplies, machinery, and services for its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 4-7 years of purchasing experience, including SAP MM expertise. The role involves supplier operational management, purchasing activities, quality activities, and problem resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher education in a relevant field
- 4-7 Years in Purchasing - Mandatory
- SAP MM expertise - Mandatory
- Knowledge of working with OFFICE systems (especially Excel)
- Ability to work and deal with many information systems
- Service- oriented, experienced with suppliers and internal customers
- Independent, team player with high negotiation skills
- High level English (writing, speaking and reading)
- Excellent presentation skills
- Program management experience
- Commercial orientation
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Great interpersonal skills
