Job Description
Applied Materials is seeking a Buyer to purchase materials, supplies, machinery, and services for their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. The Buyer will collaborate with teams, showcase organization and strategic planning skills, and negotiate with suppliers to procure essential items.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher education in a relevant field (Engineering preferred)
- 4-7 years of experience in purchasing
- SAP MM expertise
- Knowledge of working with OFFICE systems (especially Excel)
- Ability to work and deal with many information systems
- Service-oriented and experienced with suppliers and internal customers
- Independent, team player with high negotiation skills
- High level English (writing, speaking, and reading)
- Excellent presentation skills
- Program management experience
- Commercial orientation
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Great interpersonal skills
