The Facilities Specialist IV is a senior, hands-on facilities role with a primary focus on commercial/industrial plumbing systems and overall facility maintenance.
Requirements
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial plumbing systems, including domestic water, sanitary and process waste systems, fixtures, pumps, valves, and related components.
- Perform facility-wide maintenance activities in addition to plumbing, including mechanical repairs, minor electrical/low-voltage support, and building repairs (within scope of training and qualifications).
- Support cleanroom, laboratory, and manufacturing support plumbing systems, including water quality, pressure regulation, drainage, and system reliability.
- Use CMMS (e.g., Maximo) to manage work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, and asset history.
- Coordinate and oversee contractors performing plumbing and facility services, ensuring work meets safety, quality, and code requirements.
- Troubleshoot plumbing-related alarms or issues that impact operations and environmental controls.
- Document work clearly and accurately using CMMS and Microsoft Office tools.
- Participate, unless otherwise noted, in a weekly on-call rotation to support after-hours or emergency facility needs.
