Applied Materials is seeking an Instructional Designer & Learning Programs Specialist to help design, build, and deliver learning programs focused on technical upskilling and AI enablement across the company.
Requirements
- Design and build engaging digital learning content
- Create short-form, modular learning such as microlearning, job aids, quick-reference guides, and performance support for just-in-time learning
- Develop storyboards, scripts, interactive activities, and assessments grounded in adult learning principles
- Use tools such as Articulate Rise and/or Storyline to create, publish, and continuously improve learning content
- Support end-to-end delivery of learning programs, from early discovery through build, review, launch, and iteration
- Support and facilitate live learning sessions and workshops for large, global audiences
- Engage stakeholders to identify skill gaps, learner pain points, and role-based needs, particularly for technical and digital roles
- Translate business and learner needs into clear learning objectives and a prioritized content pipeline
- Contribute to AI and technical upskilling initiatives by supporting course content, learner resources, and program materials
- Support learning operations across platforms such as AGU and PATHWAY, including publishing, updates, and basic learner support
