Applied Materials is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to join their engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical depth, hands-on design experience, and the ability to work cross-functionally with global teams to deliver high-quality, manufacturable solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of relevant mechanical design experience in complex systems or precision equipment
- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD tools (Creo, NX or equivalent) and PLM systems (Windchill or Teamcenter)
- Experience with engineering fundamentals: structural mechanics, materials, GD&T, and manufacturing processes
- Experience in semiconductor capital equipment, design of subsystems, vacuum systems, wafer handling, robotics, precision motion, facilities, Racks, structural Frames or Electromechanical packaging
