The company is seeking a New Business Development - Partnerships IV to work with Semiconductor Products Group's business units to identify and develop new business opportunities enabled through external partnerships and inorganic options.
Requirements
- Work with Semiconductor Products Group's business units to identify and develop new business opportunities enabled through external partnerships and inorganic options
- Guide BUs through New Business Development processes including approvals, negotiation, governance, legal documentation and program management
- Manage key relationships with external strategic partners
- Develop and maintain partnership with key stakeholders across the BUs and functional groups
- Oversee the design, development, testing, training and documentation of tools and technology to facilitate effective management of strategic NBD programs
- Define the methods and analytical techniques that are used for critical business functions on an internal/external basis to support worldwide business development.
- Understand the competitive influences affecting the business.
- Support other SPG partnership programs as needed
- Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in business development and partnerships
- Understands semiconductor technical and business environments
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
- Demonstrates ability to work across multiple Business Units, Centers of Excellence, and functions within Applied Materials
- Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions
- Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives; work is guided by functional policies
- Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view
