Patent Operations Specialist

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering solutions used to produce virtually every new chip and advanced display in the world. We are seeking a patent operations specialist to manage the activities of a portion of our wide-ranging US and international patent portfolio.

Requirements

• Manage a docket of patent cases and invention disclosures
• Keep track of deadlines and ensure law firm compliance
• Support the process for invention disclosure submission, patent application preparation and prosecution
• Coordinate with inventors, BU counsel and outside counsel
• Generate periodic and ad-hoc reports regarding Applied's IP portfolio
• Support BU counsel with preparation and management of patent committee meetings
• Provide procedural guidance to law firms and managing guideline documentation
