Physicist / Scientist V

At Applied Materials, we are seeking a Physicist / Scientist V to join our team. As a technical leader, you will lead and execute engineering projects, spearhead research and development of new technologies, and provide physics-based guidance during chamber and module design reviews. You will influence chamber architecture and design rules, and lead root-cause analysis of complex, cross-domain chamber behaviors. You will also mentor engineers and physicists in applying first-principles, system-level thinking across coupled plasma, EM, thermal, pressure, and vacuum domains.
