Software Technical Manager

Applied Materials is seeking a Software Technical Manager to develop cutting-edge software solutions for new/existing products in the Inspection domain. The successful candidate will lead a team of software developers and be responsible for product software development, technical mentorship, and managing deployment and integration of new software.

Requirements

• Responsible for Product software development team deliverables from requirements to final code delivery with required SW Quality.
• Learn Product Domain and Software Infrastructure to provide technical mentorship to teams.
• Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance to software engineers during the development process.
• Given the requirement, define functional specification, design specification, implementation & verification plan.
• Expert in Software Development Life Cycle and exposure to Agile development methodologies.
• Good at problem solving and debugging.
• Will require to effectively work in a multi-site environment, with teams across time zones,
