Software Technical Manager

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering solutions used to produce virtually every new chip and advanced display in the world. We are seeking a versatile senior software manager to develop cutting-edge software solutions for new/existing products in Inspection domain. Inspection provides the science, techniques, and precision devices that are used to determine if parts or features of chip have any defective locations.

Requirements

• Responsible for Product software development team deliverables from requirements to final code delivery with required SW Quality.
• Learn Product Domain and Software Infrastructure to provide technical mentorship to teams.
• Expected to be proficient in programming and software development and managing teams of 8-10 Software developers QA.
• Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance to software engineers during the development process.
• Given the requirement, define functional specification, design specification, implementation & verification plan.
• Require strong communication skills to interact with and influence stakeholders as you will need to work with the end users of the products and applications engineering teams.
• Expert in Software Development Life Cycle and exposure to Agile development methodologies.
• Good at problem solving and debugging.
• Will require to effectively work in a multi-site environment, with teams across time zones,
