Apptronik is a human-centered robotics company developing AI-powered robots to support humanity in every facet of life. We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and develop our Apollo humanoid robots across the full product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Design and develop mechanical components, subsystems, and assemblies
- Own designs from concept development and prototyping through production release and sustaining
- Perform design trade studies and support technical risk reduction
- Apply DFMA principles and support manufacturing readiness and production ramp
- Plan and execute verification and validation testing for assigned designs
- Perform or support mechanical analysis, including static, thermal, and fatigue analysis
- Investigate test, manufacturing, and field issues; support root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Create clear and complete design documentation, drawings, and specifications
- Participate in technical design reviews and cross-functional discussions
- Collaborate with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal manufacturing teams
- Support engineering change management (ECO/ECN) and design traceability
- Provide guidance and informal mentorship to junior engineers
