Job Description
Calvary Robotics is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of automated equipment based on customer specifications. The role involves conceptual design, design, detail creation, BOM generation, and collaboration with shop personnel to ensure successful manufacturing and testing of the automated systems. The engineer must be capable of leading complex projects and resolving technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical / Electro Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 5 plus years' experience utilizing Solidworks and/or AutoCAD designing various custom Automated Test and Assembly Machines
- Intimate knowledge of SolidWorks solid modeling software
- Knowledge of sound mechanical design principals, shop practices, and automation and test components
- Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, innate sense of commitment to the task at hand
- Attention to budgets and schedules and the profitability of the company
