The Risk Analyst provides analytical support for risk-related activities to assist informed, data-driven decision making. Assists with risk assessments and analytical tasks related to insurance, credit, and financial risk exposures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Finance
- 2 (two) years' related professional level experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills
- Proficient computer skills including a thorough knowledge and applied use of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of VBA is a plus
- Current experience in utility operations preferred
- Experience constructing analytical models and understanding probabilistic assessment techniques
- Experience with analytic/statistical software such as R, @Risk, Python, etc.
- Experience reviewing and summarizing analytical risk assessments
