Job Description
The P/T Supported Living Direct Support Professional will commit to and demonstrate the Mission, Vision and Values of Aptus Treatment Centre through attitude, actions and behaviours. They will ensure compliance with Ministry of Community and Social Services, Ministry of Children and Youth Services, all relevant legislation and organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Relevant Degree, Diploma or equivalent education and/or experience
- Valid G2/G Driver's License in Ontario and demonstrated acceptable driving record
- Direct support experience in a community based setting is preferred
- Strong listening, observation and communication skills
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and creative problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Ability to maintain regular attendance at work
- Certified in First Aid, CPR
