Arago is developing a processor that harnesses the unique physical properties of light to address both memory and computational limitations. We're looking for a bold Senior Processor Architect to drive the development and leadership of the performance model for the digital processor.
Requirements
- Proficient in mathematics and physics
- At least 5 years of experience in processor architecture or performance modeling
- Skilled in C/C++ and Python programming
- Strong understanding of software and hardware co-development
- Experienced in identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks in parallel processors
- Familiarity with AI workloads and systolic arrays is highly valued
- Develop a model to evaluate PPA based on specific input features
- Conduct a hardware feasibility study to assess performance, congestion, and power requirements
- Assess and optimize full-chip floorplanning, including partitioning, I/O and SerDes layout, power distribution, and more
- Define and optimize the memory hierarchy and bandwidth utilization for improved efficiency
- Analyze AI applications and workloads to identify performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with the Analog IC team to ensure smooth alignment with the optical processor's specificities
- Work with the software team to design an instruction pipelining strategy and propose algorithm optimizations to improve ASIC performance
