The CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting guests between Glacier Bay Lodge and key arrival/departure points, including the airport and ferry terminal. This role is critical in providing a welcoming first impression and ensuring guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and reliable shuttle experience.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement and no airbrake restrictions.
- Minimum of 23 years of age
- 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience.
- No suspension of driving privileges for moving violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
- Prior experience in passenger transportation, hospitality, or tourism preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Friendly, approachable, and safety-conscious.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with diverse guests.
- Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Adaptable to changing schedules and seasonal demands.
- Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and assist with luggage up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
