The food preparer is responsible for assisting cooks, chefs or food service managers in preparing ingredients for recipes and performing other food preparation and service tasks.
Requirements
- Prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
- Organize the work station with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, cutting, slicing, and peeling foods.
- Use safely a number of utensils including knives.
- Organize, decorate, and portion food according to established guidelines.
- Store food properly, following food safety and handling procedures.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, clients, colleagues, etc.
- Follow Aramark policies and procedures, including food safety and cleaning.
- Ensure the security of company assets.
