Job Description
As a Materials Developer 2 - Trims, you will be responsible for developing high-performance trim materials for all activities. You will work alongside the Raw Materials Development (RMD) Team to create toolbox palettes for each product category, made of innovative materials that can become brand icons. You will utilize your resourcefulness, technical expertise, and communication skills to deliver on-time material solutions, alongside supply chain partners.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industry experience related to materials and trims
- Degree or diploma in Materials Science, Textile Technology, Product or Textile Design, or equivalent industry experience
- Working knowledge of the design and development process from inception to final adoption
- Extensive knowledge of trim materials and construction
- Thorough understanding of trims and textile manufacturing
- Previous materials laboratory testing experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PLM systems
