As a PLM – Women’s Trail, your creation of profitable, global product line assortments for the Women’s Trail product category aligns with the overall Merchandising strategy and supports our company goals, consumer needs, and focuses on brand opportunities to bring innovative solutions to market.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in Outdoor Retail, Merchandising, Product Development, Wholesale and/or Retail Buying roles
- Strong knowledge of sell through, calculating cost of goods, and the open to buy process
- Manage a large portfolio of models (40+) and a high articles count
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills, able to facilitate work across many different internal departments and external key accounts and vendors
- Proven track record of partnering across diverse teams and departments to establish consensus or drive solutions
- Excellent understanding of the design and development process
- Excellent use of Adobe and Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
- Willing and able to travel as required (trade shows, key dealer presentations, key vendor meetings, core consumer events, etc.)
- Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- Effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
- Inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- Seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
