Senior Apparel Design Developer - Tokyo Creation Center (TCC)

As a Senior Apparel Design Developer at ARC’TERYX, you will be responsible for creating innovative product concepts for mountain athletes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior designers. You will work onsite in Tokyo and partner remotely with peers in North Vancouver, Canada.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in technical design/product construction environment
• 2+ years of experience leading a team
• Effective communication in English, both written and verbal
• Deep understanding of APAC athlete needs
• Previous pattern making experience, particularly CAD experience with Gerber, Clo3D, or equivalent 3D software
• Expert level sewing, building, and/or patternmaking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator
• Proactive in identifying root causes and developing solutions
• Highly flexible and adaptable in ambiguous situations
• Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration
