ArcelorMittal Mines and Infrastructure is seeking a Disability Manager to work under the responsibility of the Health, Well-being, and Compensation Service Chief. The successful candidate will be responsible for following up on employee absence files, analyzing and evaluating employee complaints related to various disability regimes, and contributing to the development of strategies aimed at achieving organizational objectives and attendance targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
- Member of the Certified Human Resources Association (CHRA) or the Certified Industrial Relations Association (CIRA) - an asset
- At least 5 years of experience in disability management, including the handling of workplace accident and occupational disease files
- Knowledge of the Quebec Labour Code
- Understanding of the medical arbitration process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to simplify processes and key elements for non-specialized stakeholders
- Discretion and a high level of sensitivity to file confidentiality
- Professional rigor, good organizational skills, and ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment
