Job Description
The Lead Medical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and implementing medical services for unaccompanied children, including hiring, training, and supervising medical staff. The position requires strong analytical and organization skills, as well as the ability to remain calm and composed in crisis situations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Medical Sciences or related field; or Higher health-related qualification
- Minimum of 1 year of employment in public health or a healthcare setting
- One-year experience working with children in a child welfare or social-services setting preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
- Reliable transportation; Valid driver license; Valid vehicle insurance
- Bilingual: Fluent in English/Spanish with regards to reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension of the spoken language
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Microsoft Word, Excel) and a variety of online database systems
