Job Description
The Shelter Evening Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Shelter, ensuring the physical, social, emotional, educational, and recreational needs of residents are met, and promoting best practices in trauma-informed care.
Requirements
- Leadership and daily supervision of direct care staff, Team leaders, and Weekend Supervisor
- Scheduling to meet licensing requirements and ensure client safety
- Maintaining documentation and adhering to contractor requirements, state licensing standards, and accreditation body requirements
- Providing reflective supervision and coaching to staff
- Conducting on-the-floor observations and providing feedback to staff
- Supporting and engaging in behavior that addresses systemic barriers and issues facing others
- Analyzing and generating information using critical thinking skills
- Identifying challenges and formulating possible solutions
- Coaching, setting expectations, providing feedback, and tracking progress of staff
