Pre-School Aide

The Preschool Aide supports the mission of St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Perryville by providing a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled environment for preschool-aged children.

Requirements

• Supervise and engage preschool students during extended care hours (before/after school)
• Support a Christ-centered atmosphere through words, actions, and modeling of Catholic values
• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, including play, crafts, snacks, and rest time
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Monitor and support students’ emotional, social, and physical development
• Communicate effectively and professionally with children, parents, and staff
• Follow all school policies, procedures, and health/safety protocols
• Support classroom teachers and staff as needed
• Attend required staff meetings and training sessions
