Job Description
The Substitute Teacher is responsible for providing instruction, classroom management, and maintaining a safe and productive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
Requirements
- Follow and implement lesson plans left by the regular teacher.
- Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.
- Take attendance and maintain accurate classroom records.
- Manage student behavior and enforce school rules to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
- Adapt teaching methods when necessary to meet the needs of students.
- Report any incidents or issues to school administration.
- Leave written feedback for the regular teacher regarding the day's events.
