Teacher, Substitute

A Substitute Teacher is responsible for teaching and supervising students in the absence of the regular teacher, following lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring the safety and well-being of students.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a Bachelor's degree in education or a related field preferred
• Teaching certification or substitute teacher permit may be required
• Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred but not always required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different educational settings
• Basic understanding of classroom technology and instructional tools
