Job Description
Archer is seeking a Composites Manufacturing Engineer to develop and validate manufacturing processes and workflow for composite parts, assist in design for tooling and fixtures, and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing critical composite aerospace components
- Understanding of common methods used for composite part manufacture
- Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret CAD models
- CAD design experience (NX preferred)
- Knowledge of aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP)
- Understanding of non-destructive inspection methods
- Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills
