Manager, Cost Accounting

Archer is seeking a highly motivated Cost Accounting Manager with over 8 years of progressive experience in cost accounting. The role involves leading cost initiatives, driving financial insights, and working cross-functionally to ensure accurate costing and inventory control. This position reports to the Director of Cost Accounting and is crucial for enabling the company's transition to commercialization and achieving operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Lead all cost accounting functions including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Analyze manufacturing performance and identify drivers of variances.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and engineering for accurate costing and margin management.
• Provide strategic financial and operational analysis to drive profitability and cost control.
• Own and manage the month-end close process.
• Develop and document cost accounting procedures.
