Arctic Wolf is looking for a Manager, Engineering - IDR to lead teams that deliver high-quality software solutions and drive continuous improvements in team processes and engineering culture. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of professional experience as a Software Developer with at least 2 years in a management role, and experience leading teams using JavaScript, Python, or Go.
Requirements
- Lead, mentor and manage team(s) that will deliver high quality, innovative software solutions
- Establish best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment
- Drive continuous improvements in team processes, development methodologies, and engineering culture
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining technical excellence
- Support the team by providing direction, clarity and removing obstacles
- Execute the Product roadmap
- Ensure teams are highly motivated, performing well, and delivering work on time
- Remove any blockers preventing teams from getting their work done
- Make sure each team is clear on the objectives and goals they are striving to achieve
- Work with team members to deliver the key features
- Work with Architects to define and execute on the company's technical roadmap
- Implement the IDR Department and Team Responsibilities
- Oversee the full software development life cycle
