Job Description
Arctic Wolf is seeking a Principal Developer to guide technical direction across the Exposure Management product area and contribute to platform architectural strategy. The role requires 8+ years of experience as a software engineer, with significant experience developing and operating SaaS platforms. The ideal candidate will have designed and operated multi-tenant, cloud-native SaaS platforms at scale, and have deep expertise in distributed systems and multi-cloud environments (AWS and GCP).
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Significant experience developing and operating SaaS platforms
- Designed and operated multi-tenant, cloud-native SaaS platforms at scale
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and multi-cloud environments (AWS and GCP)
- Strong experience with two or more of: Rust, Go, Python
- Grounded in engineering principles — clean design, domain-driven design, separation of concerns, KISS, YAGNI — and apply them pragmatically
- Demonstrated track record of elevating engineering teams — whether through mentoring individuals, improving team practices, or raising the quality bar across multiple teams
- Contribute strategic technical recommendations with 1-3 year impact horizons
