Job Description
Process Engineer Job reports to the Engineering Manager and supports the day-to-day operation of the Memphis facility. The position provides process technical support for the entire site operation and applies principles of mass, flow, reactions, heat transfer, etc. to process and equipment design.
Requirements
- Apply principles of mass, flow, reactions, heat transfer, etc. to process and equipment design
- Manage process improvement projects, including MOC/PSSR requirements
- Assess data to track and improve yield, reliability, cost energy and key raw material usage
- Lead site PHAs and implement recommendations
- Support the Operations Manager in troubleshooting existing processes and technical writing or revisions of operating procedures
- Prepare technical and business reports and presentations
- Prepare training materials for personnel at the site in process upgrades, modification etc.
- Mentor Developmental Engineers and other new employees as appropriate
- Work with other functions to address issues around quality, products, planning and customers
