Job Description
Test Engineer position at Armtec Defense Technologies, responsible for maintaining and improving test capabilities, developing test processes, and identifying proper test equipment. The role involves leading and mentoring technicians, conducting experiments, and ensuring proper operation of instrumentation and test equipment. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in a testing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college.
- Minimum of 5 years work experience preferably in a Testing environment.
- Ability to obtain a US DOD Secret security clearance.
- General computer skills (MS Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Experience working with and troubleshooting electronics equipment.
- Pro/E or other CAD experience preferred.
- Matlab/Labview experience a plus.
- Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) experience a plus.
