Security Operations Center Specialist

The Security Operations Center Specialist monitors and operates all security and safety systems, specified building management systems of the facilities and outdoor venues, and acts as the main communications link between Campus Security staff and outside emergency response operators.

Requirements

• Continually and effectively monitor CCTV system
• Initiate incident reports based on reported or observed events
• Effectively monitor security and building management systems
• Continually monitor all incoming radio and intercom communications
• Maintain accurate records of Alarm, CCTV, Fire and Building Management system activities
• Act as the telephone link with outside responding agencies
• Assist in the oversight of quarterly and yearly preventive maintenance activities
